Church Planters, Published Authors, Community Activists, and Marriage Advisors.

Pastor Devin D. Westbrook, Sr., is a native of Memphis, TN. He is a licensed and ordained minister who has served the Southwind Community for over 14 years. Many souls have come to Christ under his leadership by using innovative methods. Westbrook advocates for men and youth/young adults and believes that building relationships and respecting young people first is the key to making life-long disciples.

As the first in his family to graduate from college, Pastor Westbrook knows what it means to be a game-changer and rule breaker. He is a graduate of both Lancaster Bible College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, and Union University, where he obtained his Master’s in Urban Christian Studies.

Pastor Samantha Westbrook is a natural encourager and purpose pusher. As a licensed realtor, certified success coach, educator, mentor, writer, editor, strategist, and preacHER, she has the mandate to help people arrive at a place called destiny.

Pastor Sam obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English: Professional Writing from The University of Memphis, a Master's of Education: Curriculum and Instruction from Freed-Hardeman University, and a certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from the ivy league Cornell University.

As Senior & Executive Pastors of Redemption Church, the Westbrooks have been happily married for 15+ years, and they have five children: Devin Jr., Miyah, Kayla, Christion, and David.

WHAT IS MARRIAGE MAINTENANCE?

WHY WAS IT IMPORTANT FOR YOU BOTH TO CREATE THIS EXPERIENCE?

We had been married for about three to four years and were having an arduous time adjusting to being married. We passionately loved each other, but it appeared we loved arguing just as much.

We reached out to one of our former mentors seeking answers about how he and his wife handled difficult days. His response blew us away. He stated, "My wife and I never argue."

At that moment, we understood that what we needed was not perfection; it was maintenance.

We discovered what first attempts to crush you is often what you're called to. We made a vow to provide others with what we couldn't seem to find. Welcome to Marriage Maintenance with the Westbrooks. It is our joy to use our mistakes to help other marriages work.
